Charlotte takes great pride in the quality of our gray iron castings.
- Our commitment to quality is in our mission statement, "Integrity is our foundation. Meeting the expectations of our customers, associates and owners is our commitment."
- We monitor the iron quality of our products through spectrographic and Leco analysis, tensile and hardness testing and metallographic analysis.
- The Brown and Sharpe Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) is used to verify dimensional accuracy of both finished iron castings and tooling.
- Regularly scheduled internal and external audits assure that processes are constantly updated.
- We pay attention to the continuous improvement of our products and procedures.
